¡°Grandfathering¡± means you don¡¯t have to take the examination to qualify for the CIPM. You qualify by earning points as shown below (minimum of 100 points required). The ¡°grandfathering¡± phase of the certification will be available for only a short time. After that, candidates must not only meet the education and experience requirements, but must also take the rigorous 3-hour professional certification examination.

The International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute (IPSCMI) (http://www.ipscmi.org) is the granting institution for the CIPM certification. IPSCMI is an affiliate of the American Certification Institute (ACI) (http://www.amcertinst.org) which provides CPP and CPPM and other purchasing and supply chain management related training outside the US, in China, Dubai, Singapore, and other countries around the world. ACI will process all receipt of funds for this certification.

The cost of the CIPM certification is $200. Express mailing of your certification is an additional $50.
